TRAVELING ANYTIME SOON?
One of the best things about our sport is
that we don't have to travel around lugging bags full of gear, or wait for at least one other person to show up, or wait for a court to open up, or for a cage to free up. We have luxury of doing our sport WHEREVER, WHENEVER, and HOWEVER we want.

When we go on trips, we could even use our very own 2 feet to find our way around a completely new city or town or check out a not-so-new city or town from a completely different perspective.

Run The Planet is a great source to find great runs all around the world while you travel (whether it's for work or pleasure)! Besides the list of great runs, they also have a pretty hefty collection of tips and tricks for running while away from home!

"When you need to know where to run, there's nothing like a first-person account from a local runner to help you out. Browse our complete list of articles for running travel information, each written by a local running guide familiar with
the area. Find unique and special running routes from Europe to North America to Africa and all the great places in between.

Also, before you travel to that great running destination, it's worth checking our great collection of Travel Tips for Runners for great advice on all aspects of running travel. Are you bringing the right gear to run in? What do you need besides running shoes and running shorts? How can you keep up your training on a cruise ship, or even an airplane, where there's no room to run? We have these answers, and more, for every traveler and runner."

Teacher, Author, Mother, and Runner. As I try to balance it all, I sometimes ask myself why I run. The Ironic things is that the runs themselves hold all the answers.
